Kits and Pattern Page

The newest addition to my site is the Kits and Patterns page. My WILDflower Designs has created some original designs, but also likes to make kits from other designers' patterns that sew up beautifully with hand dyes. See page for Rosa and Friends, Tie Dye Sampler and The Fiesta Quilt.

My site now offers the same great dyer's cloth that I do my dyeing with. James Thompson's 45" Pure Threads pfd dyer's cotton is a 78 x 76 thread count cloth. I use it exclusively for all of my hand dyed cottons and it provides me and my customers with a high quality product. Go to the Pure Threads page to order.

Grip 'n Grip Craft Mat, Paintstik Brushes

The Grip 'n Grip rubber craft mat by Bear Thread Designs, Inc., (maker of the infamous Applique Pressing Sheet)---what a great accessory for working with oil paintstiks and texture plates. Texture plates are plastic and fabric is, well, fabric! Both of them slide easily when trying to paint or write on them. This rubber mat makes the job easier by gripping and holding everything in place. We have new paintstik brushes that are made with shorter bristles to facilitate working with Shiva Oil Paintstiks. Check out the paintstik page for these products. As of January 2008, there has been a slight increase in the price of oil paintstik products.
